James Allison Memorial Scholarship

James Allison was a history professor and one of the original faculty members at Thomas Nelson. During much of the 1970’s Mr. Allison served as the Division Chair for the Business Sciences department. In the late 1970’s, Mr. Allison returned to teaching history until he retired in 1988. The James Allison Memorial Scholarship was established in his memory in 1996. To qualify for this opportunity, applicants must have completed at least 15 credit hours at Thomas Nelson and maintain a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA.
