Sentara Scholarship

Established in 1994 to assist students in the nursing program.
Requirements

Be enrolled at Virginia Peninsula (or have completed all General Education requirements); Must have been accepted into the Virginia Peninsula nursing program, or be enrolled in one of Virginia Peninsula’s approved health programs; Have a minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA.

Individuals who receive the Sentara Healthcare Scholarship have the option to accept employment with Sentara (if offered) at the rate of one calendar year of employment for each academic year of financial assistance. An academic year of financial assistance will be defined as having received a total of $1,200.
