Awarded in fall and divided equally between the fall and spring semesters. GPA of 2. 0 must be maintained in order to receive the award for the spring semester.
Requirements
• Be enrolled at Virginia Peninsula Community College (or have completed all General Education requirements);
• Must have been accepted into the Virginia Peninsula Community College nursing program, or be enrolled in one of Virginia Peninsula Community College approved health programs;
• Have a minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA

OPTIONAL:
Individuals who receive the Sentara Williamsburg Hospital Scholarship must agree to accept employment at Sentara (if offered) at the rate of one calendar year of employment for each academic year of financial assistance. An academic year of financial assistance will be defined as having received a total of $1,200.
